What You Learn when You are Not Paying Attention

It’s pretty amazing the amount of stuff you learn when you are not paying attention.

I have learned that I do enjoy long car rides, as long as I know there is a new and exciting place at the other end.

I have realized my essentials fit inside one backpack, and I am happy having only that stuff, this means I can get up and go anywhere, anytime, no questions asked.

I have learned that when you don’t have a 9-5 job Mondays are just a great of a day as any other day.

Camping is great, as long as you stay in the same camping grounds for a couple nights. Setting up and breaking down (cleaning) the camping equipment takes a bit of time.

I have learned that downtime is reflection time, challenge your previous assumptions.

I’ve only been on the road for a couple days so I expect to learn much more as the time passes.
